Meet the Aftersales Team
Andrew leads the operations and technical department of Arbor Aftersales.
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, the last 15 years at director level in both PLC and private organisations. He has experience in all disciplines within the industry and as such has an excellent overview of the build environment. Previously Andrew has been concentrating on low energy construction processes through the Code for Sustainable Homes using off site manufacturing methods of construction. He was on the panel of the NHBC Standards for timber frame housing April 08. Through his interest in timber frame construction Andrew has been responsible for setting up two timber frame manufacturing businesses. Recently Andrew has been totally immersed in taking full advantage of maximising the benefits of both decentralized generation and a renewable heat source within the confines of the building environment, thereby using localised utilities to service buildings as intended.

Qualifications: Ordinary National Diploma in Construction Technology Basford Hall F.E. Higher National Diploma in Construction Technology from Trent University Nottingham (Distinction).
Tom finished Stamford Endowed school in 2012. He then spent the next 18 months travelling around New Zealand. In New Zealand, He worked in the forestry industry operating a TimberPro TF 830 in a small team of six that was responsible for processing 500 tonnes of soft wood a day.
On returning to the UK Tom used his previous networking opportunities to set up and run his own gardening, fencing and firewood business. He managed a small team of part time workers within the county of Lincolnshire.
In 2015, Tom began working for Arbor Heat and Power as a Sub-Contracted Engineer, while he continued to manage his own business. In 2016 Tom accepted a full-time position with Arbor Heat and Power. For 9 months, Tom worked as an engineer gaining valuable insight on the operation and maintenance of the arborElectoGen 45. From there Tom took a role as New Business Development Co-ordinator assisting in the launch of Alchemy Utilities Limited.
In April 2017 Tom was promoted to Aftersales Manager. His role includes managing a small team of engineers to ensure all arborElectroGen45 systems are maintained to a high quality, building maintenance contracts for clients, sorting invoices and billings and managing the sale of spare parts. Tom works closely with the Aftersales office team, Engineers, Accounts Department and Operation Director; Andrew West.
Spares Stock Co-ordinator
Harry is a very technically minded individual who has always taken a very hands on approach to anything which involves mechanical engineering. This started out by rebuilding engines on motorbikes at the early age of 11. In later years he qualified as a welder at technical college and also completed a Cytech level 2 course to become a qualified bicycle mechanic and manage the workshop of two local bike shops. His skills later took him to run and develop a Customer support department for a bicycle component company with a nationwide customer base.
Harry realises the importance of quality, easy to source parts and maintenance packages to eliminate any downtime of anything mechanical. He is skilled in providing a dedicated service for Arbor customers to make their Aftersales experience easy to understand and customer friendly to ensure you get the best from your product. Harry works closely with the distributors to ensure Arbor provides the best quality, cost effective solutions to keeping your unit running faultlessly.
Technical Support Manager
Stewart is City and Guilds qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, beginning his career working with Redring Electric Limited as an electrical apprentice.
Stewart has a wide range of skills within both the electrical and mechanical industries that he has applied to positions for companies such as John Lewis Partnership, Supreme Concrete Ltd, Miele Company Ltd and Phoenix Hydraulics and Electrical Solutions.
Stewart has over 30 years’ experience working in the electrical engineering industry which he now uses to great effect as Arbor Heat and Powers Maintenance and Projects Technician.
As Maintenance and Projects Technician Stewart is responsible for providing technical support for the Project Team on ongoing and new schemes and systems. Stewart is also responsible for the planned maintenance and breakdown maintenance on Arbor Heat and Powers’ existing and new installations.
Senior Technical Support Engineer
Stephen has over 10 years’ experience as a qualified electrician covering a wide range of work varying from nuclear power stations to domestic projects. With experience in maintenance, testing and commissioning of electrical systems to BS7671. Whilst able to gain vast knowledge of the electrical sector Stephen also pursued a rugby career competing at a professional international level and representing Wales 7’s.
As the Senior Technical Support Engineer Stephen is responsible for liaising with projects, on site engineers and the customer, providing technical advice and guidance throughout the project to ensure the site is ready for commissioning. Stephen also has the responsibility of commissioning the Arbor unit allowing the project to be signed off and handed to the customer.
